4. Highlight the figurative language and label which type each represents.

* Warm-Up: N2K 1.3, then use a dry erase marker to write one sentence about something that happened this summer. REVIEW from Friday: USE THE ACTIVE VOICE.
* Antonym partner match up to "meet a new friend" on Kindness Spirit Day and check warm up. Identify subject and verb for your partner and explain why your sentence demonstrates the active voice.
JOURNAL: How can social media be used for kindness? How have you also seen it used for the antithesis of that?
If time allows, collaboration: what acts of kindness have you witnessed this week?
